Marshall is the only one who sings this aria as it was written by Handel (I've listened to more than 40 'Messiah's - no one more). Of course, sing 'He shall speak peace unto the heathen' ( 0:58) in the second octave is lighter and more dramatic, and sing as written ('-then ' - d1 in soprano clef) for Her is hardest of all. But She still sings, because just so right here.
